No more latency problem in Cubase SX!

Hello to all friends,

After installed, you don't have to do anything with the driver. Open up your Cubase SX or other music software and change your ASIO driver to ASIO4ALL.

For those who have latency problem using Cubase SX or any other software that required ASIO driver, I suggest to download ASIO4ALL, Universal ASIO driver for all WDM audio. The best thing is you can download the driver for free.

After downloaded, double click the file and the installation is very easy. After installed, you don't have to do anything with the driver. Open up your Cubase SX or other music software and change your ASIO driver to ASIO4ALL. Good luck and happy recording!

Do the scales or modes that make a guitar player sounds good?

Do the scales or modes that make a guitar player sounds good? Can you please tell me which scale or mode is the best?

That is what we called art. Art is an expression. Art explains about people.

No one can tell me about that because it is not the scale or mode that make you or other guitar players sound good. Scales, modes or arpeggios are just another tool that you can use to play guitar.

The truth is how you sing your notes will tell you and others that you sound good or not. That's how it works. Let see, Dave Mustaine can still makes great guitar solos with minor pentatonic scale, Joe Satriani with his lydian mode and Gary Moore with his blues scale.

Even if you ask them, I think they will only say, "I just play what I want to play!". This is because the notes don't came from the scales or modes. The notes came from their heart. The notes are telling who they are. That is what we called art. Art is an expression. Art explains about people.

The simple rule of life

Hello to all friends,

Today I just want to share a little bit about my story in this music world. It's all begin when I was 14 years old. I started to play guitar and take lessons from professional tutor. My goal at that time is to set up a band. Then I moved to Kuala Kubu Bharu the next year. I met all my great jamm buddies there. From Fadzilezsix, McNaim, Akey, Luth to Ronan. I always spent time together with them. We wrote few songs & started to perform.

It makes me believe that if you put all your passion and focus on it, then you can have it!

After that, we're getting more serious in this music world. I feel like I need my own practice studio to make us easier to practice our songs. But the thing is, we're still in school, so we lack of money to buy all those equipments.

My passion to have my own practice studio made me do crazy things. I built my own drum set with few kitchen tools & trash bins. Yah, I know it sounds bad! But I don't care. All I care is I must have my own practice room. Then, I collected few money & bought two 15 watts amp to amplify the guitar & bass.

Years to years, I upgraded the equipments one by one and today I just can't believe it that I'm not only have my own practice studio, but I have my own music center. It makes me believe that if you put all your passion and focus on it, then you can have it! The simple rule of life.

The Secret - Law of attraction: Vision blog, dare to be different?

I've just watching "The secret - law of attraction" documentary. I believe some of you have already watch it too. If you don't, I suggest you to get the DVD at your near local store.

What I want to share here is the method of using 'vision board'. If you don't know what is vision board, then I suggest you to read about it here.

I build my own 'vision blog' as an alternative and I found it more interactive as I can visit my own vision blog at anywhere and anytime.

Many of people today have their own vision board, so at first I've decided to make my own too but I'm too lazy to cut and paste pictures. I've just uploaded two songs at Vicerock Music Station

I've just uploaded two songs at Vicerock Music Station. The first one titled, "I know what we did this valentine" is a collaboration song between me and Malaysian no.1 metal rhythm player, Ridzi. The song was recorded on the last Valentine's night at Ridzi's home studio.

The first one titled, "I know what we did this valentine" is a collaboration song between me and Malaysian no.1 metal rhythm player, Ridzi.

The 2nd song titled, "Evolution of a legend" is a collaboration song between me and McNaim, one of my favourite bass player. It was recorded last year in my studio.
